At Qi Kwan Do Black Belt Schools we pride ourselves in having a fully trained, highly qualified team of Instructors. They are there to coach you and advise you in every way to help you achieve your goals within our programmes. Instructors attend regular courses to keep their Martial Arts skills and teaching methods up to the high standard set by Grandmaster Parisi, Founder of Qi Kwan Do.

Mr Adam Paphitis
Position: Chief Instructor, Asst. Examiner
Schools: Barnet, Borehamwood, Radlett, Welwyn Garden City
Mr Paphitis joined the Borehamwood Academy in 2007 at age 10. He has since progressed to a Second Dan Black Belt, training and teaching in various classes, and holding the position of Assistant Examiner.
Mr Stephen Newman
Position: Chief Instructor, Asst. Examiner

Mr Newman started his Qi Kwan Do journey at the Welwyn Garden City academy. He has since earned his First Dan Black Belt and Assistant Examiner certification.
Mrs Michelle Newman
Position: Chief Instructor, Asst. Examiner

Along with husband Stephen, Mrs Newman joined Qi Kwan Do at the Welwyn Garden City academy. In the years since, she has progressed to First Dan Black Belt and Assistant Examiner.
Mr Karl Puranik
Position: Chief Instructor
Schools: Borehamwood, Radlett, Welwyn Garden City
Mr Puranik began as a student in the Welwyn Garden City academy, but now can be seen teaching and training at a variety of academies and Qi Kwan Do events. He is a First Dan Black Belt, and has since been joined in training by his brother, Jay.
Mr Neville Henry
Position: Asst. Instructor

Mr Henry was one of the first students to join the Radlett academy. He now trains and teaches across various academies, having earned his First Dan Black Belt, and is working towards his Instructor Certification.
Mr Rio Kagalwala
Position: Asst. Instructor
Schools: Barnet, Borehamwood, Radlett, Welwyn Garden City
Mr Kagalwala followed in the footsteps of his father, Amiya, a long-time students of Grandmaster Parisi and Qi Kwan Do. Joining at the age of seven, he has since earned his Black Belt and can be found training and teaching at a wide array of academies.
Mr Jay Puranik
Position: Asst. Instructor

Mr Puranik joined Qi Kwan Do in the footsteps of his older brother, Karl. He has since begun his own journey as an instructor, and earned his Black Belt.
Mr Luke Paphitis
Position: Asst. Instructor

Mr Paphitis joined the Borehamwood academy after his brother Adam, eventually also moving to the position of Assistant Instructor, and earning his own Black Belt.
